How much does each state send to the Federal Department of Education?
Does anyone know of a website that can give an estimate of how much each state sends to the Department of Education each year? I know the state doesn’t get a bill from them per se, but I’m thinking more of a figure based on the proportion of federal taxes paid in each state relative to the amount appropriated to the department in each budget.
No idea, but it is ALL a waste. States should set their own standards, for they are close enough to enforce them and close enough to the people to be ACCOUNTABLE.
Abolish Dept of Education.
