Golden Retriever scratches at door & wants in & out constantly?
He doesn’t necessarily need to go potty- he just likes the cool air outside. He is an indoor dog. He has already ruined the rubber seal on my patio door. I would get a doggy door but it’s a glass door. But when he wants to come back in, if I am not right there, he’ll scratch. I don’t want to replace the blinds he’s ruined until he stops this behavior. I have placed a bell that he will ring with his nose if he wants to go out, but he doesn’t use it 100% of the time.
get a new different door, which you can put a doggie door on the bottom section of….that will give the dog free ascess in and out and you wont be bothered being a doorman !! we did this at our new house..we bought 2 new different doors, one from the patio, and one from the gameroom/rec room, so the 2 dogs can come and go as they please, and everyone is very happy!! problem solved !! any ???, email me !!
